Tuesdays,
in the past for me have normally been reserved for catching up on house work and running errands, and the occasional shopping trip or beauty appointment while the girls are at daycare and school, but things are about to change! I've been accepted into Uni and I'm about to sacrifice a lot of time to this... at least 5yrs of part-time external study in fact! I have been pondering the idea of study for the last 4 years or so really, but I haven't felt that I had the gusto and determination... not to mention the fact that I just had so many interests, and couldn't figure out what was going to be the best avenue for me to study. As it turns out, I have chosen to pursue a degree in Communication with a Marketing major. The fun starts in July so I've got quite a few jobs on the "to do list" to tick off in the next couple of months. I want to ensure that my little bear family is going to stay as happy and looked after as they are now, even when Mumma Bear is studying xx
I would like to give a big shout out to Mrs Tania McCallum for her gentle little push and kind words of support and faith x Thanks Tan!
Righto... I'm off to make my Mr. some lunch to take down the hill and find some Gumboots!
BIG LOVE XX

A BELATED how does your garden grow :)
Sooo sorry for the delay between posts Lovelies, there has been so much exciting news around here lately, and I have been a little distracted! Last week, Evie and i potted up some basil, mint and rosemary we propagated for our friend Chris to keep on his sunny kitchen window. It was such a lovely feeling to give our little plants away, and we dressed their little pots up all pretty with ribbons for their new home. We fed our veggie plants some yummy seaweed, and we also fed and sprayed the roses, Camellia, and azalea, and we're hoping and willing for this rain to start so we can start to see some things growing again!
Our latest Eden Seeds parcel, arrived last week too and we are looking forward to planting our spearmint and frilly-pink lettuce after Easter. Layla and I have discussed what our frilly pink lettuce might look like, and she decided that it would probably look a little like Evie's pink, petty skirt... Only time will tell xx Mmmwah!

WARM AND FUZZY
Hello! How was your weekend? We made our first fire, and hot milo's for the winter on Friday afternoon, right after Mark almost severed his toe with the axe while chopping wood... SILLY MAN! It was a very quick, cool change over the weekend, and we enjoyed some snuggling with the girls and Mr. Wilfred around the fire while it was rainy and cool outside. On Saturday afternoon, we had the Harris family around for Happy Hour, and discussed our camping itinerary over a Cab Sav and the most delicious artichoke dip I have ever eaten! http://www.bestrecipes.com.au/recipe/Warm-Artichoke-Dip-L1177.html
I also noticed something disturbing over the weekend... it seems as though I developed a winter coat! I am the fuzziest Sasquatch you have ever seen! I'm organising a day at the spa once we come back from our camping trip to de-fuzz and re-fresh with my Marky before he heads back to work, and I start studying.
Well, I'm off to start checking off my"list of things to do", for the week. I hope you have a lovely day, Will try and put some more posts up this week of our little adventures xx
We have found a man to look after our animals, walk Wilfred and keep an eye on our house while we are away on holidays... YAY, no more stressful, expensive kennels! We are all soooo looking forward to this camping trip. We are headed over to the camping shop on the weekend to grab a few things, and then we're going to start packing our gear up! It's gonna be a chill-fest down there, so I'm going to head down the Range this week to grab some gumboots and some winter essentials for my little bear family.
What do you think I should pack into our camper-hamper for warm drinks;
Milo, Ovaltine, or some special organic hot chocolate? Maybe I should take a few cups of each in a clip seal bag...

Hi ho, hi ho...A camping we will go...
Lovelies!
We have some rain coming our way this week - Hoooray! I'm pretty darn excited about this to tell you the truth! We have had such a dry Summer, it will be nice to have the temprature drop and to get some water on the gardens and lawn. We have got heaps of catching up to do in the house, and we are still to catch up on sleep after our eventful start to the year. I am set to start studying in July, (Wooooo hoooooo) so it's going to be a great motivation for me to get some serious organisation happening again! My office is feeling so neglected, it's been our too hard basket for far too long!
We are hoping to get away down south for a few days of camping to Denmark over the Easter holidays - might bump into princess Mary... Tee hee! We are set to drag out all our camping gear this weekend and get sorted, we have been invited to two camping trips in the last couple of weeks, and we are going to do BOTH! It's something that we have wanted to do more of for a long time and since we have been here, it's either been too hot, too cold, or we simply had no-one else to go with.
It's about time Papa Bear had some time off too! Some of Mark and My most fondest memories from childhood have been on camping adventures, and we are determined to get the girls into it now that Evie is a little bit older.
I had forgotton about my search for a vintage van up until the other day... I think it's because they are as rare as yowies, and last time, I didn't have much success finding one for sale over in WA. If you come accross one in your travels that's for sale, please let me know x
These camping trips comming up, have re-ignited my search for a sweet lil' vintage van, for overnight getaways with my little Bear family... a little doer-uperer like this would be perfect for us to love and cherish.
Well, on that note I'd best get some washing on the line before the day gets away from me!
Happy Birthday to Grandma and Auntie Stace! xxoo
